Rain Shadow: six days of heat, thirst, and wonder.

I’m excited to share that my book, Rain Shadow, is nearing its publication date by Kelsay Books. Many thanks to Karen Kelsay and her team for all their time and efforts!

I’ve become an outline pasted on the moon.

Inspired by the true story of Ed Rosenthal, poet and commercial real estate broker, who went missing in the Mojave Desert for six days.

…the trail a cocoon of tumbled brightness

His plans for a short hike turned into a life-and-death struggle. As the days wore on, he wrote goodbye messages on his canvas hat.

Mojave squirms in a vise of heat…

I plan to keep you posted about the publication of Rain Shadow.

Congratulations! It couldn’t happen to a more deserving poet.
